My name is Richelle de Deugd. When I started as a teacher, I was able to start working at a primary school in Amsterdam. Here I stood in front of pretty much all groups. In addition, I did various courses, because there is so much interesting to learn all the time. At the school where I worked, I was allowed to set up the policy for gifted children and boost technology education.
Meanwhile, I am no longer in the regular classroom. I do a lot of other things that are all still related to education, which I do from my own company, see www.hobega.nl. For instance, I provide training in the field of gifted children. And I work as a freelancer for swvPPO-NK, where we use the subsidy obtained in the field of gifted children. I also run plus groups from www.dayaweekschool.nl. In this way, I not only work for children and education, but also with children. This is wonderful work, where I can teach from my passion. And for those plus groups, I’m always looking for new challenges, looking for ways in which they are encouraged to think for themselves, to be independent and to take their own responsibility. And so at some point I came across the Greenscreenbox. ‘What a great tool,’ was my first thought. ‘What can I do with this in my groups,’ came next. I saw all kinds of possibilities, so I ordered one and used it in my groups. The children were enthusiastic and beautiful videos emerged. And that only added to my enthusiasm. And I would like to pass on that enthusiasm to other teachers.
